Connecting it to Xiaomi Home (iOS) was a nightmare. Even after various changes of regions/language (server), when it finally connected, it still wouldn’t communicate! And I’m not a newbie, this is my 32nd thermometer, the other 25 are the simple and excellent monitor 2. Out of curiosity, I wanted to try the 3, and if all was ok, to take advantage of the bigger battery and the settings to permanently turn off the display, so I’d only need to change the battery every 3-4 years.
I bought it from e-shop.gr and returned it since it only worked when I selected China as the region, but then it wouldn’t recognize any of the others! I thought that was the problem, but it wasn’t.
Then I bought two directly from the Greek distributor, and had the same luck.
I’m waiting to talk to support, maybe it’s my iPhone’s iOS or something else and Bluetooth won’t pair. If I solve the issue, I’ll analyze all the individual pros/cons and of course, mainly, how the issue was resolved, if it gets resolved!

If anyone had and solved such an issue, please post it in the questions/answers so we can be saved too!

Και δεν ειμαι κ χθεσινος, ειναι το 32ο θερμομετρακι, τα υπολοιπα 25 ειναι το απλο κ αριστο monitor 2. Ηθελα απο περιεργεια να δοκιμασω το 3 και αν ολα οκ, να εκμεταλλευτω την μεγαλυτερη μπαταρια κ τις ρυθμισεις μη ενδειξης του display μονιμα, αρα αλλαγη μπαταριας καθε 3-4 χρονια.
Το ειχα παρει απο το e-shop.gr και το επεστρεψα μιας και το δεχοταν μονο οταν επελεγα περιοχη Κινα, αλλα τοτε δεν αναγνωριζε τα υπολοιπα ολα! Θεωρησα οτι φταιει αυτο, αλλα αδικως.
Επειτα πηρα δυο απο την ελληνικη αντιπροσωπεια απευθειας, την ιδια τυχη ειχα.
Περιμενω να μιλησω με υποστηριξη, μηπως φταιει το ios του iphone μου η κατι αλλο και δεν κουμπωνει το bluetooth. Αν το λυσω το ζητημα θα αναλυσω ολα τα επιμερους θετικα/αρνητικα κ φυσικα και κυριως τον τροπο που λυθηκε το ζητημα, αν λυθει!

It needs a BT hub to work and to see the measurements from anywhere, otherwise you need to be in the same room with your phone. I bought it from e-shop.gr and returned it since it only worked when I selected China as the region, but then it wouldn’t recognize any of the others! I thought that was the problem, but it wasn’t.
Then I bought two directly from the Greek distributor, and had the same luck.
I’m waiting to talk to support, maybe it’s my iPhone’s iOS or something else and Bluetooth won’t pair. If I solve the issue, I’ll analyze all the individual pros/cons and of course, mainly, how the issue was resolved, if it gets resolved!

Μαρτυριο η συνδεση της στο Xiaomi Home(ios). Ακομη και οταν μετα απο διαφορες αλλαγες περιοχων/γλωσσας (server) συνδεθηκε, μετα δεν επικοινωνουσε!
Και δεν ειμαι κ χθεσινος, ειναι το 32ο θερμομετρακι, τα υπολοιπα 25 ειναι το απλο κ αριστο monitor 2. Ηθελα απο περιεργεια να δοκιμασω το 3 και αν ολα οκ, να εκμεταλλευτω την μεγαλυτερη μπαταρια κ τις ρυθμισεις μη ενδειξης του display μονιμα, αρα αλλαγη μπαταριας καθε 3-4 χρονια.
Το ειχα παρει απο το e-shop.gr και το επεστρεψα μιας και το δεχοταν μονο οταν επελεγα περιοχη Κινα, αλλα τοτε δεν αναγνωριζε τα υπολοιπα ολα! Θεωρησα οτι φταιει αυτο, αλλα αδικως.
Επειτα πηρα δυο απο την ελληνικη αντιπροσωπεια απευθειας, την ιδια τυχη ειχα.
Περιμενω να μιλησω με υποστηριξη, μηπως φταιει το ios του iphone μου η κατι αλλο και δεν κουμπωνει το bluetooth. Αν το λυσω το ζητημα θα αναλυσω ολα τα επιμερους θετικα/αρνητικα κ φυσικα και κυριως τον τροπο που λυθηκε το ζητημα, αν λυθει!
