The Nike Claybreaker technology is ready for red clay, offering improved traction and less buildup on clay surfaces. The additional traction in the forefoot and midfoot works with a wide traction pattern to help you glide with control. Traction and pressure maps were used to analyze sand buildup areas for the design. Tested on red clay courts in Europe under various clay weather conditions (cold, hot, wet, and dry).
Durability for the Court A sturdy plastic plate in the midfoot adds stability for quick cuts and power to your game as you transfer energy from movement to movement. The webbing around the lace holes combined with the plate provides a sense of "hug" during side-to-side movement. The heel is additionally padded to keep you comfortable and supported.
