Purchased for a laptop which I wanted to connect to a bluetooth speaker.
With Windows 11, the installation was automatic (only 7 and 8 require manual installation).

I don't use it every day but when I use it for a DualSense controller or to connect wireless headphones (mainly AirPods) I have nothing negative to say. It works as it should, quickly, and without disconnections or difficulties in pairing.

I just received the TP-Link UB500 V3 and I'm using it on Arch with kernel 6.17. It worked plug-and-play, without needing to install drivers (although I updated preemptively).
Audio tests were done with Xiaomi Buds 6 Pro.
The device plays LDAC without disconnections and with stability up to about 10 meters behind a wall. The quality is excellent and the latency very low, so it's suitable even for gaming in LDAC high fidelity.
The drawback:
It does not support simultaneous audio output + input (microphone) in AAC or LDAC. As soon as the microphone is enabled, the system automatically downgrades the codec to SBC, which noticeably reduces the quality. The exact same problem appears in Windows, so it's not a Linux issue.
Conclusion:
Compatible, stable, fast, and with flawless performance in LDAC. It just isn't suitable for microphone use in high-fidelity codecs.

Η συσκευή παίζει LDAC χωρίς αποσυνδέσεις και με σταθερότητα μέχρι περίπου 10 μέτρα πίσω από τοίχο. Η ποιότητα είναι άριστη και η καθυστέρηση πολύ χαμηλή, οπότε είναι κατάλληλο και για gaming ακόμη και σε LDAC high fidelity.

I don't know if the specific adapter is to blame or if something changed with the interference in the area, but with the Bluetooth of my desktop's motherboard, I had no problem.

I got it to connect a keyboard and mouse to the work computer. It worked out of the box on Ubuntu, I didn't encounter any issues, it does the job. I replaced it after a long time with the Logi Bolt receiver for my Logitech peripherals, but I still have it on for connecting Bluetooth headphones

Unbelievable product, I connected two PS4 controllers directly and they can play simultaneously without any issues, and I easily connected the AirPods and they work perfectly too. With the cheaper Bluetooth adapter I had, I couldn't connect more than one device.

I got it to easily transfer files between my computer and phone. It does great in that. By the way, I also tried the earbuds. In a movie or YouTube video where someone is talking, they are fine. I noticed a slight lag, but in a very specific case of video. I put on a drum cover of a song. The player was hitting at one place and it was sounding elsewhere. We're talking about milliseconds, but it's noticeable. In the other cases, it doesn't bother. It's all good.

Το χρησιμοποιούσα σε Laptop με παλιότερο πρωτόκολλο Bluetooth και ενώ στο 90% των περιπτώσεων δεν είχε θέμα, από ένα σημείο και μετά άρχισε να κάνει κάποια σπάνια disconnects.
Δε ξέρω εάν φταίει το συγκεκριμένο Adapter ή άλλαξε κάτι στις παρεμβολές του χώρου, αλλά με το Bluetooth της μητρικής του Desktop Μου ,δεν είχα θέμα.
