Users are generally very satisfied, especially praising how well it maintains temperature for several hours and its leakproof design. They also say it looks attractive, is practical for everyday use, and fits in many car cup holders. However, several find it difficult to clean and use the lid, the opening isn’t straw-friendly, and temperature retention varies.
The review concerns the thermos without the built-in straw:
Excellent build quality, keeps a drink hot for 3-4 hours easily. The mechanism on the lid is clever and sturdy and seems like it will withstand years of continuous opening and closing.
Beautiful design, very convenient to hold with one hand on the metro, for example.
The only negative (and the reason I remove one star because I consider it important) is that the spout on the lid is very narrow and only fits the thinnest straws, and even those with difficulty (the straw bends). I am surprised that a Greek company, in a country with six months of summer and where freddo and frappe are the most famous coffees, did not think to include a slightly larger opening in their design to fit a straw.
Perfect in all other respects!
on the positive side, it keeps drinks hot for 4-5 hours at a very good temperature, it is hard to open and fits in a cup holder
on the negative side, it is hard to open if you tighten it too much
the flow is not good at all. you are forced to drink in very small sips
in the photos is mine bought 2 months ago and used daily only for hot tea and the other is a thermos from another company with the same daily use bought 8/24.
i don't know what kind of stainless steel this is that in 2 months it became like this
Excellent build quality!
The thermos is durable, does not leak, and keeps the drink at temperature for several hours, especially when full.
Very practical and reliable for everyday use.
I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
Very good quality and excellent closure. Very easy to clean. Good duration for cold and hot drinks. Compatible with car cup holder.
does not keep hot drinks warm for long
towards the end of the drink (3-4 sips left) for some reason it does not flow from the spout and you have to unscrew the lid
unfortunately with one drop the lid broke, of course it's undoubtedly my fault ...but I would have liked a slightly sturdier lid for its price...otherwise it's fine, it's quality
I have enjoyed it a lot. The colors are darker than in the photo. Nevertheless, a nice thermos-cup. I use it daily without problems..
Regarding what some mention about the lid not unscrewing: if the thermos is still hot, indeed it does not unscrew. You have to let it cool down to unscrew it.
It does not leak. I put it in my bag all the time without worry.
Temperatures and related aspects are good, but in terms of ease of use it has very poor design!! I find it very difficult to open (there's nowhere to grip, the lid is almost a perfect circle) and I can't clean the mechanism in the lid! Once I used a bit more sponge to clean the lid, and since then drops have started leaking from the top.
Beautiful but quite dysfunctional...!!!
It does indeed keep the drink warm, it is practical and there are no significant leaks, however, you can't really trust it closed in a bag like, for example, a bottle with a cap. I didn't like at all the shade they sent me as it had nothing to do with the vibrant light blue of the order/site. Instead, I received it in a dark, indeterminate blue – see my photo (I didn't have time for exchanges). Oh, and it doesn't have a straw as mentioned in the description.
Very nice and convenient cup, it keeps my coffee warm for 8 hours, not hot but at a good temperature. The lid is a bit difficult to clean but I managed with a brush for metal straws.
It doesn’t leak at all when there is a hot drink.
It makes a loud noise when you open and close the spout.
It doesn’t take a straw. If you remove the rubber piece that blocks liquid leakage, a straw will fit (a freddo espresso straw, not a larger one), but then it will be like open, and after that the rubber piece won’t go back in. The lid doesn’t come apart with screws.
I remove one star because sometimes the lid sticks, it doesn't 'unseal' and I can't drink. I also have it in a smaller size and it doesn't stick, it's probably a defective one I got
Because opinions differ on how many hours the drink stays hot, I have to say that I put a plastic bag over the mug to transport it and after a few minutes there was condensation. This means that there is heat loss and the heat escaped outwards and fogged up the bag. In the end, my coffee stayed hot for about 1 hour as it came out of the coffee maker, and for up to 2.5 hours it remained a bit warmer than what we call lukewarm (up to that point it is worth consuming), after that it naturally becomes lukewarm until it reaches room temperature. Regarding the cup's leakproofness, I have to say that even when I put it in my bag and it turned sideways, there were no leaks (I had put the bag just in case but it wasn't needed). In a test I did by filling it with water and turning it in various directions, there were no leaks. Only when I shook it very vigorously like a shaker did a few drops come out, which I think wouldn't seriously stain a bag. Personally, I would characterize it as about 97% leakproof.
the first 4 hours the coffee is as if it just came out of the coffee maker... then... ok it loses temperature...
of course I have also bought a 700ml flask. so I fill from there. p.s. the 700ml flask keeps the same temperature for more than 8 hours.
It has fewer ml than stated compared to another thermal cup I had with the same ml. It keeps the coffee warm. A downside is that it doesn't take a straw, just so you know, because of the way the lid is.
The color is darker and duller than it appears in the photo, it really has the color of denim. It is not dishwasher safe and given the cost, I think it should be. The cap is very difficult to clean and I haven't managed to disassemble it to clean it inside. Nevertheless, it keeps tea warm for several hours and I use it daily.
For its price, it does the job.
It keeps warm for about 3 to 3.5 hours, then for about another hour it stays lukewarm to warm, and after that it starts to cool down. For 4.5 to 5 hours it's ok, warm. I haven't tried it with cold
They replaced the lid for me once, simply because it was open and didn't pour, but the next one does the same. Sometimes the drink comes out normally from the lid and sometimes there is no flow at all
I've been using it for a week now. Unfortunately, this time the stove disappointed me. I don't know if I got a defective product, but every day it leaks. No matter how much I tighten it, it keeps dripping. On the first day, when I didn't know and didn't tighten it much, it dripped drops on the floor as I walked with it in my hand. Really a shame for the 20€.
It keeps the contents at the right temperature. The plastic lid with the stopper starts to deteriorate very quickly, which probably results in the consumption of microplastics.
Amazing construction, keeps cold and hot for several hours!!! The only downside is that you need a hack to insert a straw, but with a little imagination, everything is possible!!! Not a single drop leaks!!
The best thermos I have ever used! It keeps the drink hot for hours and it's like you just made your coffee. I highly recommend it! Also, it doesn't spill, it's quite stable and fits in the car holders.
It keeps the coffee's temperature for many hours. The best purchase of this kind we've ever made! It also fits in a small cup holder in the car. Totally recommended! We bought two in different designs and both are perfect!
Totally recommended!
Ideal size, it's not too big for a freddo. A plastic straw fits, which bends because of the rubber. The ice cubes last for hours without almost melting.
In a drink with ice cubes, the ice cubes melt quickly and the temperature rises very quickly; in a hot drink, it keeps it at a good temperature for at least 5 hours.
Excellent build quality!
