It is freezer-safe and should be hand-washed with a soft sponge. Before first use, wash it with warm water and dish soap; after each use, wash and dry it thoroughly. It is not dishwasher-safe. Avoid using metal sponges, scouring pads or harsh cleaners. Prolonged storage of acidic, alkaline or salty liquids, citrus juices or liquids containing baking soda may cause spots to form on its surface.
