    27" Samsung Odyssey G5, stands rock solid wherever I place it with the Allen screws loosened. Incredibly sturdy build. Bought for €45 and worth every cent.

    NOTE/TIP: If you have a desk 2.5 cm thick or thinner, e.g. 1.8 cm (melamine, that is), it’s a good idea to also get a small piece of melamine (a leftover offcut) so the base can clamp onto a larger surface and a greater thickness. Even with light monitors, a monitor arm exerts great pressure and torque on a very small area of a desk and, in the long term, can damage the wood. I have a 2.5 cm desk and I got a matching 12x15 piece at the same thickness, and that’s where the monitor arm is clamped. It is ROCK SOLID. And of course 100% safe for the desk’s melamine.
