Easily connected, just informationally the Motorola app, which doesn't do much, works only on Android 14 and later. Essentially, I transferred it to my colleague's phone with Android 14, updated the firmware, removed it, and transferred it to mine. The Google network is still a bit lacking for the... but I believe it will improve (it's purely a matter of legislation).

Edit: I'm dropping it to two stars, even though I've done a firmware update that supposedly solves the battery consumption issue. In two weeks, it drained and went to 2.9 volts and threw a notification. If the next one I put in does the same, it will be ripped out and put in the cupboard as a useless object since where I have it as a tracker is incredibly difficult to remove.

Edit2: Next. Battery lasted a week, and I measured it before putting it in, and it was 3.28 volts, and now it's 2.89.

We have a second tracker that doesn't go out much; this one lasted about 3 weeks on battery, both with the latest software update.

In short, it's a useless tracker with a battery life of 1 week to 3 weeks depending on its operating conditions.

And final edit: now even 5 trackers under 10 days of stable battery life, with a day's difference, both threw low battery notifications.

In simple terms, wasted money unless you have a huge stock of 2032 batteries because at the rate the batteries are going, they will soon exceed the tracker’s value.

After the last firmware update, it seems like the battery is holding (in any case, nothing like before). And yesterday, Google Find updated, and it seems to be starting to work as it should. As a tracker, it will show, of course, but if it continues to work like this, 4 stars (I would give it 5, but due to the hassle, I won't)

I raised my review from 2 to 3 stars. I will mention the changes and then follows the original review.

As others have mentioned, it had battery issues. I bought it in September '24 and it showed a low battery indication within 3 months. With new firmware, it seems to have been fixed. For the past 1.5 months, it constantly shows a low level. Therefore, we are at about 8 months of life so far.

They also added the ability for the button on the tag to function as a remote trigger for photos (which can only be activated through the Motorola app for the tag). The only problem is that on my phone (Moto G84) it only works in the official camera app and not in Lightroom where I would ideally want it.

I feel like the tracking has improved but still doesn't track fast enough. From what I understand, Google's "Find my Device" has been upgraded and works better, but the results are still not ideal.

Quality is good, but I expected much more - and it's not necessarily the tag's fault.

Anyone expecting an Apple Tag but on Android will be very disappointed. Google's find my device still has many issues, mainly due to privacy, which I understand.

In this case, it takes a long time to give a signal, I've found 3-5 minutes, and for some strange reason, it doesn't appear with my other devices if I try to find it from a computer. I suspect this is a Google issue though.

The device itself has very good build quality but a terrible speaker. Even at full volume, it can't be heard. Inside a bag, it will only be heard if you put your ear to it.

Additionally, the button on it is supposed to serve two purposes, to find the phone and to function as a Bluetooth button to take remote photos. In the first case, besides having to activate it in the settings, it doesn't work well with my Moto G84 and most of the time it only works if I go into the tag app.
As for working as a Bluetooth button, it doesn't work for me at all.

In summary:
Elegant and well-made but with a bad speaker and non-existent Google infrastructure to make it competitive.
