I researched it a lot in practice and tried various things. My own conclusion is that if you want real espresso with a machine like the Delonghi Dedica, you need beans, a burr grinder, and a non-pressurized portafilter.
Final conclusion: if we are talking about espresso, do not buy this grinder. Buy pre-ground coffee, you will not get the benefit of grinding because it is not the right grind.
Είναι καλός μύλος αλλά δε κάνει για espresso. Κόβει μέχρι και λεπτή σκόνη (εάν το κουνας ταυτόχρονα ) αλλά το αποτέλεσμα στην μηχανή δεν έχει καμία σχέση με τον χειροκίνητο μύλο burr που πήρα αναγκαστικά.
Το έψαξα πρακτικα πολύ και δοκίμασα διαφορα. Το δικό μου συμπέρασμα είναι πως άμα θες πραγματικό espresso με μια μηχανή επιπέδου Delonghi Dedica θες Κοκκο, μύλο Burr και non pressurized portafilter.
Τελικό συμπέρασμα εάν μιλάμε για εσπρέσσο μη πάρετε αυτο το μύλο. πάρτε αλεσμένο καφέ, δε θα πάρετε το όφελος του αλέσματος γιατί δεν είναι το σωστό άλεσμα.
It is indeed sturdy as others mention, it cuts well but you have to constantly keep an eye on the time to achieve the desired result. Also, another downside is its cleaning which is quite difficult - I would say annoying if done daily.
