  • Classic Corsair reliability.
I first had one from MSI and it caused me problems, resulting in it frying my processor.
Another plus is that although it has an 80+ Gold certification, its internal construction meets Platinum specifications.

Perhaps the best power supply I have had so far. Nothing was missing from it. Extremely versatile in its use.

I bought it after reading the very good reviews. From the beginning, during use either on Desktop or in Gaming mode, it made repeated clicking noises... which Corsair says: MOSFETs switch, the energy produced is stored in a component called a "resonant tank” and is output through a high-frequency transformer. The noise you're hearing is the frequency of the power going into the tank! They say it's normal as energy is being transferred inside the power supply for its protection! See more here: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/explorer/diy-builder/power-supply-units/corsair-rm1000e-clicking-noise-explained/ !
Don't risk it with this model with the switch on the back for "silent" (-here we laugh...-) operation... It seems that with Corsair power supplies, their traditionally good quality is a thing of the past... There are other good companies with better support and quality...

Silent in its operation, I haven't heard any coil whine on my card (gigabyte 5080 gaming oc), stable in its function, it comes with braided cables and supports the latest ATX 3.1 and PCIE 5.1 standards. Also a big plus is the 10-year warranty and the company's after-sale support in case there is any problem.
Edit: Unfortunately, after 5 months the power supply started causing interruptions and restarts on the computer with error code 41, it was replaced with another and the problems on the computer stopped. Unfortunately, I now have serious doubts about the quality of the internal components the company uses. A Kolink Regulator power supply at almost half the price never gave me such nonsense. In short, terrible quality control. After 16 days they replaced it, the pcie 12v pchwr had burned out.

I bought it with a discount of 180 euros and I believe it was worth the money compared to power supplies of the same price that are also a bit lower in watts
