I have been wearing them for 4 days now. Although they are not intended for use on a motorcycle, I was looking to combine comfort, durability, longevity, and thermal insulation for temperatures below 5°C for the difficult weather conditions of the North, as well as waterproofing for normal rain because only the galosh keeps you dry in a long-lasting storm compared to my previous boots from TALOS for the EKAM, as I work as a delivery person. As the days go by, they soften and become even better, although because it's my first time spending so much money on shoes, I also bought extra maintenance-waterproofing products in the form of grease and spray. They are quite warm (although for safety, because it's -3 -4°C outside, I also wear thermal socks, which results in my feet sweating a little and therefore I cannot draw a safe conclusion about their breathability). Their insole is soft (silicone) just like their sole, which has excellent grip and does not slip anywhere at all. Wearing them for 10-12 hours did not tire me out (almost) at all. The side zipper from YKK is of excellent quality, feel, and particularly ergonomic for easy on-off. The only possible negative is that they made driving a car somewhat difficult as they are still a bit stiff for the pedals, but they are still brand new. Overall, they seem to have a very well thought-out design-construction for safe everyday heavy use. I hope they withstand the test of time. I am very satisfied for now and I highly recommend them to anyone who sees them as an investment in a good tool for work or hobby, rather than being dissatisfied or settling for many cheap Chinese alternatives in the series.
