Conscript Deluxe Edition for PS5 is a survival horror game with action and adventure elements, set during the 1916 Battle of Verdun. The player takes on the role of a French soldier searching for his missing brother, exploring trenches, attacked fortifications and the exposed territory between enemy lines. The experience is built around methodical survival gameplay, item management and route planning, and also features environmental puzzles.

Pixel art visuals and sound shape the atmosphere, while different difficulty settings, multiple endings, unlockable uniforms and additional weapons enhance replayability. The Deluxe Edition includes the Golden Gun Pack, with a gold-plated replica Mauser C96, and the Trench Raider Pack, featuring the Elite Trench Raider, Pilot and English Tommy. Combat uses melee weapons and firearms from the First World War era.
