Pébéo water-based paint specifically designed for fabric in a 1L bottle.

It can be applied to thin or thick fabrics in dark or light shades made from natural or synthetic fibers. It can be combined with the corresponding Setascrib Opaque markers as well as with the Setacolor Relief outlines from the range for painting on fabric.

Dilution / Use with Airbrush: Setacolor Opaque paints are ready to use straight from the package. If you want to achieve more fluidity or watercolor effects, you can add water to the paints. If using with an airbrush, the following steps must be followed:

• First, prepare a solution of 50% water / 50% Setacolor Lightening medium, which acts as a base solution.
• Then prepare a second solution with 50% of the desired Setacolor Opaque color / 50% base solution.

The second solution is suitable for use in the airbrush.

Instructions: The fabrics you intend to paint should be washed once before applying the colors to remove the so-called sizing and ensure better adherence of the colors later. All colors in the range mix completely. Shake the paint very well before use and apply to the fabric. The colors dry to the touch in about 1 hour after application. They are fully dry after 24 hours.

Important! To stabilize the Setacolor colors, ironing from the back side of the decorated fabric for 5 minutes without steam is required. Once fixed, the colors are resistant to washing in a machine or by hand at 40°C after 48 hours. Tumble drying and dry cleaning are not recommended.

Painting in multiple layers of colors: In cases where one Setacolour Opaque color is applied over another, it is observed that it does not adhere well and does not paint properly. To avoid this, after each layer of color, apply a layer of Setacolor Lightening Medium. However, it is preferable, if you want to add details over an already applied color, to use the corresponding markers from the range that have better adhesion when painting over existing colors.

Tool Cleaning: To clean the tools, just rinse them with plenty of water and soap.

Storage: Keep the paints away from very high or very low temperatures.
