Pébéo water-based paint specially designed for fabric in a 45 ml bottle. It applies to fine or thick fabrics in dark or light shades made from natural or synthetic fibers. It can be combined with the corresponding Setascrib Opaque markers as well as the Setacolor Relief outlines from the fabric painting series.
Application Surfaces:
Finish: Opaque with a suede effect, soft-velvety finish.
Application Methods: Brush, sponge, pipette, roller, stencil, airbrush.
Dilution / Use with airbrush: Setacolor Opaque paints are ready to use straight from the package. If you want to achieve more fluidity or a watercolor effect, you can add water to the paints. When using with an airbrush, first create a solution of 50% water / 50% Setacolor Lightening medium as a base solution. Then make a second solution with 50% of the desired Setacolor Opaque color / 50% base solution. The second solution is suitable for airbrush.
Instructions: The fabrics you will paint should be washed once before applying the paints. All colors in the range mix completely with each other. Shake the paint very well before use and apply it on the fabric. The paints dry in about 1 hour after application to the touch. They are fully dry in 24 hours.
Important! To set the Setacolor colors, ironing from the back side of the decorated fabric for 5 minutes without steam is required. The colors are machine wash or hand wash resistant at 40°C after 48 hours.
Layering of colors: After placing one Setacolor Opaque color over another, a layer of the Setacolor Lightening Medium should be used after each layer of color for better adhesion.
Tool Cleaning: For cleaning tools, simply rinse with plenty of water and soap.
Storage: Keep the paints away from very high or very low temperatures.
