Inside the ultra-light Ci4+ body of the mechanism lies Shimano's Hagane gear, ensuring maximum strength and durability over time. Its main feature is the reduced weight compared to the classic model 14000XSE/XTE, while maintaining the same power.

Additionally, several other technologies such as X–SHIP in combination with Infinity Drive and Silent Drive technologies will provide the mechanism with incredibly smooth and soft operation even under maximum pulling load.

This time, Shimano's designers placed special emphasis on the casting aspect of the mechanism. For this reason, they combined all the necessary technologies:

  • Super Slow 5 Oscillation
  • Rigid Cast
  • Parallel Body
  • AR–C spool

These will enable long casts, sending the bait to the right spot even in extremely challenging fishing conditions.
