The player takes on the role of a monarch who possesses an ancient soul-stealing crown with magical abilities. With its power, they establish a kingdom in a dangerous wild land and defend it from mutated creatures and wandering bandits.

Build, gather resources, cultivate the land, and more to transform their newly founded kingdom into an authoritarian and self-sufficient community.

As their reputation grows, more and more will join under their banner – but so will those seeking to overthrow them, including friends collaborating with up to six players.

• Kingdom Construction: Create a kingdom from scratch and transform the wild into an advanced community. Decide where to place buildings and manage your citizens to automate all processes!
• Exciting resource collection: Chop down entire trees in the workshop to make planks or run through the forest carrying the workshop to collect wood during your journey!
• Resource gathering is fun and easy thanks to the power of your crown. But beware, you may have many enemies around you.
• Collect monster nests and place them near bandit camps to make them fight each other (and gain free treasures!).
• Rescue villagers: Are villagers being eaten by mutants? Run across a lake at 100 km/h to save them in time! Are you under fire from illegal fighters on the hills? Attack by spinning so fast that you take off like a helicopter and land on them from above!
• Manage your resources and gather enough food to survive the winter. Protect your crops (and farmers) from hungry mutants while waiting for your harvests to ripen.
• Keep polluting industries away, or you'll see the land become barren. Finally, keep your people happy or they will leave you for the bandits.
• The game Overthrown can be played offline in single-player mode or with a team of up to six friends in online co-op!

To play online, an internet connection and a PS Plus subscription are required (sold separately).
