The LevelOne GVT-2016 converter connects an Ethernet network to fiber optic cable via an SFP port and supports single-mode and multimode fiber. It provides PoE++ with a total power budget of 90 W and supports the IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, and IEEE 802.3bt standards. Transfer speeds reach up to 1000 Mbit/s, and jumbo frames of up to 9K bytes are supported.

The wired connection supports Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet. LED indicators show power, LAN, PoE, and fiber status.
