The Traveller’s Journal notebook is available in a stunning selection of vibrant colors - each with two internal books, beautifully presented with our gold logo on the cover.
It is complemented by exceptional British-made paper, which has been carefully selected for use with fountain pens and guarantees minimal “feathering”, is satisfactorily opaque, and has a limited transparency index. This superior-quality textured paper is equally perfect for pencil sketching as it is for writing, due to its thick ‘toothy’ surface.
Each notebook features durable Spanish bovine leather, which has been vegetable-tanned (more environmentally friendly), hand-dyed, cut, and polished here in Stamford for a stunning finish every time. The leather ribbons complete the look, providing an impressive closure with the embossed leather button on the front cover.
Each Traveller’s Journal comes in a beautiful, practical handmade pouch with a drawstring. All the bags are made in Stamford. All Stamford Notebooks are handcrafted in the workshop in Stamford by true artisans using techniques that span centuries along with some ‘modern’ tools – conducting all aspects of production, including paper printing, folding, stitching, cutting, case making, and finishing. This also applies to the leather goods, where we cut, dye, sew, and finish all our leather products by hand.
