So, after this incredible ending, I come to discuss the most viral romantasy since Fourth Wing, and I’m of course talking about Divine Rivals.

We find ourselves in a war-torn world where the gods who have been sleeping for years have just awakened, furious and determined to destroy each other, and they are enlisting humans along the way for their own interests. Iris struggles with her demons as her brother has just gone off to war, leaving her behind to care for their mother. Amidst the terrible war, she finds a job at the local newspaper and fights to get the column. Her rival, Roman, is there for the same reason, or is he not? While Iris tries to communicate with her brother through letters and a magical connection, it turns out that Roman is the recipient of the letters. Until Iris decides to leave for the front line for a serious reason, everything changes as she sees the war up close. But what happens with the magical connection that hangs in the air? A romance blooms, and everything will change!

First, let me say how much I enjoyed Rebecca Ross's magical writing, which not only made me vividly imagine everything she described but also transported me to a place where typewriters, war with the gods, and Iris and Roman truly exist. I should also mention that this is the first book I have so many annotations for, which says something! The romance was truly wonderful, heartwarming, and their connection was magical! I honestly loved it! Although I must say it is quite YA and definitely not the 5⭐️ I expected, but it came very close! I highly recommend it!
