The Hoya ProND EX 8 filter reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 3 stops. When shooting video outdoors, you can adjust shutter speeds to match the frame rate while maintaining the desired depth of field.

When capturing moving subjects, you can achieve motion blur that makes the image appear more cinematic. For photography applications, the filter allows you to use longer exposures or achieve shallow depth of field in bright sunlight.

The ProND EX 8 filter uses Hoya's ACCU-ND technology to prevent color shifts and provide consistent image quality. ACCU-ND ensures equal light reduction in both the visible and infrared spectrum, so you don't experience color changes when shooting in different outdoor conditions.

The filter features threading on both the front and back sides. Additional ND filters can be stacked on the front, or you can attach a threaded lens cap or another filter.
