    So, what I have done: I assembled the shelving unit with the second shelf from the bottom at a classic table height of 74-76 cm.
    Then, I bought an olive wood board, two centimeters thick (which I treated with varnish and wax).
    Next, I bought two pipe-table legs to support the table on one side, and on the other side I placed it on the shelf (I also put a weight like a microwave and a coffee maker so the wood doesn't move and stays stable, but even on its own it doesn't have room to move because it's cut to fit exactly within the shelving frame).
    Finally, to give it an extra kitchen furniture look, I took plywood and screwed it to the sides.
