The Orno Carbon Oxide detector continuously measures carbon monoxide concentration and sounds an alert when it exceeds 40 ppm. The display shows readings from 0 to 999 ppm, while the alert is both visual and audible, with a sound level of 85 dB. It operates independently on two removable 1.5 V AA LR6 batteries.

It features a test button, a mute button, a memory function and a low-battery warning. The detector has a service life of 10 years; once this period has elapsed, the device must be replaced. It also features a corresponding end-of-life warning. Install it 1–3 m horizontally from a fuel-burning appliance. Its maximum coverage distance is 10 m.
