A complete filter for neutral density and polarization, the PolarPro Peter McKinnon Chroma VND/PL Black Mist Filter 82mm 2-5 Stop incorporates black particles within the newly developed Chroma Glass structure to provide color depth and rich, dark shadows. The Chroma Glass allows the filter to feature two separate, independently controllable elements for neutral density and polarization in a dual-rotating design. The new glass also enhances the color accuracy of the filter. The neutral density filter enables users to reduce exposure settings to achieve various effects, while the polarizers minimize glare and reflections to give an image a sharp, clear appearance. PolarPro has improved the tactile experience when using the filter by incorporating bearings in each stop to secure the VND setting in place. The filter features 16 layers of anti-scratch, anti-reflective, and fingerprint-resistant coatings.
