The ICS DP 2258 counterfeit banknote detector checks the authenticity of euro banknotes using ultraviolet (UV) light, magnetic scanning (MG) and infrared (IR) detection. It also checks paper quality and the conductivity of the metallic strip, while the ICD function detects a code hidden in the security strip. The LCD displays the inspection results.
It automatically recognizes the currency and denomination, and its software can be updated via USB or a Micro SD card. The sensor is easy to clean and maintain.
