If you haven't bought the 10 meter LED strip to cut it to your desired length, you can connect two 5 meter LED strips, which work with one of the two power supplies/controllers provided in the package, the others are left over. You set up your 8 meter LED strip, turn it on and all 8 meters light up, then reduce it by 10 centimeters at a time until you reach 7 meters and 30 centimeters.
