The first Parker "51" was produced in 1941, about 80 years ago. Although the "51" was mass-produced with over 300 million pens, today they are considered collectibles. Perhaps no other pen has been unanimously declared as "classic." It is simply a triumph of style and holds a prominent place in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
