Made from raw cotton material, the production process involves several processing steps until the material is shaped into striped sheet. This is followed by cutting and diamond polishing. The double clips on the back of the barrel and on the cap are unified with utmost precision for a seamless uniform appearance.

The pen is polished to achieve a superior level of shine, and the clip with the beak shape is made from high-quality materials. The characteristic pelican beak-shaped clip and trims are gold-plated in 23 carats.

At the top of the cap is the Pelikan logo, while the central ring is engraved with the company's letters. The nib is two-toned and engraved in 18 carats with Fine/Medium/Broad, Italic Broad writing thickness options.

The cap is made from high-quality, high-luster processed black lacquer. It works flawlessly with the integrated ink suction mechanism.
