The filter it contains is the Doulton Biotect Ultra, which removes chlorine, taste, odor, cysts, and heavy metals. Manufactured in England and certified to NSF/ANSI 42 & 53.

Characteristics of Doulton Biotect Ultra Replacement Filter: It is a ceramic filter with an active carbon block and heavy metal technology. The Biotect Ultra is only compatible with Filtadapt, EcoFast QT, D-CS & D-CP101 devices.

Four Stages of Filtration:

• 1st Stage: Outer shell – microfiltration for retaining bacteria, cysts, and microparticles.
