The exceptional paper chosen is ideal for use with writing pens, ensuring minimal "feathering," while also being quite opaque, with minimal show-through. This premium quality textured paper is also suitable for pencil sketching due to its thick "rough" surface.
Each notebook features durable vegetable-tanned Spanish cowhide leather, hand-dyed, cut, and polished in Stamford, offering a stunningly beautiful finish. The leather straps complete the look, providing a striking closure with the embossed leather button on the front.
Each Traveler's Notebook comes in a beautiful, practical handmade canvas bag with wire. All the bags are made in Stamford. All Stamford Notebooks are hand-stitched in the Stamford workshop by true artisans using centuries-old techniques and some 'modern' tools, performing all production processes including paper printing, folding, stitching, cutting, and placement. This extends to our leather products as well, where we cut, dye, sew, and finish all our leather goods by hand.
