Monostor Vapor Elastic is an elastomeric water-based acrylic paint for protecting and waterproofing vertical exterior concrete and plaster surfaces, both new and old. It forms an elastic, waterproof membrane that covers hairline cracks while allowing water vapor to escape through the wall.
It has high water vapor permeability and low water absorption, in accordance with EN 7783 and EN 1062. Its low CO₂ permeability protects concrete and reinforcement from carbonation, while the paint is resistant to stains and rain streaks, salts, frost, UV radiation, alkalis and chalking. The white shade has cool-surface properties and prevents mold growth on the film.
