The connection links the motor shaft of the mincer with the gear of the screw. If excessive pressure is applied, e.g., if bones or cartilage are encountered during meat grinding, this part may break. The connection absorbs part of this pressure to protect the motor from overload. Made from special plastic with a certain density and only breaks if truly overloaded.
