Description

Designed for Performance and Protection

The PES Carbon helmet features an innovative protection design that offers superior protection for the collarbone. The aerodynamic shell is made from carbon fiber, significantly reducing weight while maintaining a robust structure. Its shape is designed to minimize wind resistance and provide additional protection to the collarbone area.

Construction Foam

  • Multi-layer construction combined with advanced epoxy resin for optimal mechanical performance and weight-to-strength ratio.

Protection

The external and internal design, along with material densities, have been optimized to offer maximum protection against linear and oblique impacts. The low profile of the shell was designed to protect the rider's collarbone in the event of a severe impact.

Maximum Vision

The optical carrier and head position have been optimized for maximum field of vision and comfort while riding. The side line has been lowered to allow improved lateral visibility in any riding position.

Photochromic Lens

The PES Carbon RO1 helmet features an advanced photochromic lens that automatically adjusts to lighting conditions, darkening in sunlight and brightening in cloudy or nighttime conditions, providing optimal visibility and comfort at any time of day.

Lens Construction

  • The lens features pins for securing a Pinlock lens, offering an extensive field of view.
  • ECE 2206 certification with optical class 1 lens.
  • Available lens options: Clear, Photochromic, Gold.

6 Ventilation Openings

The front ventilation arrangement includes two openings, including on the lens. Each side fin features an open-close button. The air entering through these is directed inside the helmet, effectively preventing fogging. Integrated ventilation openings on the side fins are used to extract humid air from inside the helmet to the outside.

Double D-ring Safety System

The PES Carbon RO1 helmet features a double D-ring retention system, one of the safest closure systems for motorcycle helmets. This mechanism provides a secure and adjustable fit, ensuring maximum protection during use.

Safety

The PES Carbon RO1 helmet features an emergency extraction system that allows for quick and easy removal of the helmet in the event of an accident, enhancing safety and protecting the user in critical situations.

Aerodynamic Design and Optimized Ventilation

The aerodynamic and advanced design of the PES Carbon RO1 helmet highlights the high-quality carbon fiber structure. In addition to its sleek design, the helmet features two optimized upper air openings for maximum and efficient ventilation, keeping you cool when riding at high speeds.

The experience so far has shown the following: it is a nice helmet for commuting within the city for those who do not want or cannot spend a lot of money on it BUT you get what you pay for and here's what I mean by that.
It is lightweight, after all it's carbon, with good visibility, it comes with two visors, one photochromic that darkens depending on sun exposure so you don't need sunglasses, and one clear WITHOUT pinlock inside for winter fogging.
    It secures with a D-ring.
It accepts intercom BUT the guide for the microphone is placed backwards (i.e. it has a slot for the mechanism on the left and the guide for the microphone on the right!!!)
It does not have an internal sun visor, which I think is good because it has a more "solid" shell.
Noise is something that will be an issue at high speeds and outside the city (within the city you just hear the wind...)
With the intercom I haven't had any complaints so far about the sound (it also depends on which device you choose)
I think it's a value for money helmet for your safety.
