The fully automatic purification system uses air quality sensors to quickly detect PM 2.5 levels in the room for continuous air monitoring. The PM 2.5 sensor identifies particles in the air with a diameter of 2.5 microns or larger (approximately 3% of the diameter of a human hair). These particles can bypass the throat and nasal barriers, reaching the lungs or even the bloodstream.

Air quality is indicated on the device’s display through color coding or directly in the AlecoAir app:
• Pre-filter: Captures large particles such as dust, lint, or pet hair.
• True HEPA Filter (H13): Traps microparticles like dust, dust mites, pollen, mold spores, bacteria, and viruses. The HEPA filter captures particles larger than 0.3 microns with an efficiency of over 99.97%. The human eye can only detect particles larger than 50-60 microns. Particles smaller than 10 microns can penetrate the lungs, causing various health issues.
• Activated Carbon Filter: Eliminates unpleasant odors (e.g., cigarette smoke, cooking smells) and toxic gases.
• UV-C Technology (254 nm spectrum): Effectively destroys 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and mold.
• Ionization Function: The device emits negative ions that bind to dust and airborne pollutants, making them heavier and easier for the purifier to capture. A high concentration of negative ions refreshes the air, enhances brain function, boosts energy reserves, improves metabolism, enhances blood circulation and the immune system, and reduces allergies and headaches.

• Wi-Fi: The smartphone app allows remote control of the device via a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection. The AlecoAir app is available on the App Store and Google Play. Also compatible with the Smart Life - Smart Living / Tuya Smart apps, available on the App Store and Google Play.

• Voice Control: The P45 SILK can be controlled using voice commands through compatible digital assistants such as Google Home, Alexa, or Siri.

• Timer: The purifier can be programmed to operate for 2, 4, or 8 hours, automatically shutting off when the selected time elapses. An indicator light displays the chosen operating duration.

• Continuous Operation: Achieved by repeatedly pressing the Timer button.

• Fan Speed: The purifier features 4 speed settings. The Speed button allows selection of one of the four levels (I, II, III, or Night Mode).

• Auto Mode: The device operates autonomously, with fan speed automatically adjusted based on PM 2.5 levels detected by the built-in sensor.

• Ionization/UV-C Lamp: This button activates/deactivates the UV lamp and ionization function. Both functions are enabled simultaneously when activated.

• Night Light: Can be turned on/off as needed by holding the button for a few seconds.

• Child Lock: Disables the control panel buttons to prevent unintended use, ideal for households with curious children.

• Memory Function: Retains settings for future use.

• Filter Reset Indicator: A light signals when the filter needs replacement based on the device’s operating time.

Filters and UV lamps are consumables, and their lifespan depends on usage.

• It is recommended to replace the UV-C lamp after approximately 8,000 hours of use. The UV-C lamp comes with a 6-month warranty.

• The HEPA filter should be replaced when it becomes saturated with impurities to maintain the device’s performance. The HEPA filter should be replaced every 6-12 months or when:

  • The filter changes color and turns gray.

  • The device emits a heavy odor, as dust and pollutants are re-released into the room.

  • The airflow becomes uneven due to impurities clogging certain areas of the filter.

  • The airflow decreases significantly due to filter saturation obstructing airflow.
