The definition of value for money...I believe it's one of the best whiskies at this price...rich taste and an even richer aftertaste...the only small downside is that the bottle is completely black and you can't see the level of the contents at all haha

It truly is an impressive whisky to have in your collection. It costs just 50 to 55 euros but can offer much more than other whiskies with a heavier name or greater age. The aroma is very lively and you can find notes of spices like ginger and cinnamon along with caramel and sweetness. However, the taste is something impressive that quite resembles Glenfarclas 15. At first it is smooth but then it hits you with a relentless spiciness and then becomes salty and slightly smoky with a touch of sweetness. The tongue tingles slightly and the mouthfeel is very strong. The finish is very good and leaves a warm and peppery sensation that is particularly pleasant. For its price, I think very few whiskies can match its quality. Even though it is 46.3% alcohol, you don’t feel a burn as it is very well hidden within its complex profile. This is a fantastic whisky.

Very simple in taste - nothing special - nothing complex and it's 46% to bring out the aromas... which here are at least few... minimal, not smoky at all even though it's from Islay. Clumsy whisky that doesn't even seem to be a 12-year-old. Skip it.

It has a strong flavor (with notes of caramel, dried fruits, and spices standing out) with rich aromas that balance wonderfully, while the finish leaves a smoky aftertaste that gives it a unique character. The intensity at 46.3% makes it a bit stronger, highlighting all its taste nuances.

An excellent 12-year single malt, which is worth every euro you spend. What one should be careful about is not to drink the whole bottle at the first opening, as it truly is an exceptional temptation!

Amazing smoked malt whisky. It differs from the others of its kind. A bit of smoke, a lot of cherry, 46.3 alcohol degrees. A very special whisky for exceptional occasions. 5 stars.

Fantastic whisky. I generally like very smoky ones, this one however is only slightly smoky, but it has Islay character, quite complex, flavors of dried fruits, nuts, sherry, caramel, very smooth, long finish, very tasty and a relatively dark color which is of course non-coloured. Truly excellent.

I didn't go crazy about it, but it is clearly better than those from the supermarket for 20 euros. If it was also 40% alcohol, it would be a little smoother.

Oak, vanilla, fruits, cherry, something of walnut - hazelnut and a hint of tobacco. Strong body, complexity, good aftertaste.

One of the best value for money, single malt whiskies at 46.3% that I have tried, amazing color, light aroma, rich body, spicy, nice finish, full of flavor. I will start adding a little hot water to see if it brings out more aroma and if the body is softer.

Unfortunately, I can't give more than 5 stars!! The drink is amazing! It's definitely worth the extra money. Don't hesitate to get it!! We want it for ourselves!

The only distillery in Islay that does not make traditional smoky whisky. Rich, spicy, and peppery, with a strong body and alcohol.

Woody and intense in flavor with a hint of smoke. Although it is a "bit pricey" for a 12-pack (€56 at the time of writing this review), it is a good choice for those who enjoy this taste profile.
