    I bought 1 three years ago, shortly after the first year it broke (the paper sensor board burned out), so the first one is gone.
    Then I made the mistake of buying the same one again. It burned out too shortly after 1 year. Coincidence? 2 out of 2 with the same damage? Never again.

So far (the bin has only filled once), no problem with shredding A4 documents, as well as small papers, credit cards, and even papers with staples still attached. Based on my experience so far, I would highly recommend it.
