Cleaning and Care
- After you finish cooking, allow your cast iron cookware to cool completely before rinsing it with warm water. You may use a small amount of soap. For stubborn stains, simmer some water for 3-5 minutes and then use the scraper after the pan has cooled.
- Immediately and carefully dry with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. Cast iron cookware does not like continuous contact with water. If you notice a little black residue on your towel, it's just the seasoning and it is perfectly normal.
- Apply a thin layer of cooking oil or seasoning spray to the surface of your cookware. Use a paper towel to wipe the surface until no oil residue remains.
