Cleaning-Care

  • Allow the cast iron cookware to cool completely before rinsing it with warm water. You may use a small amount of soap.
  • For stubborn stains, simmer a little water for 3-5 minutes and then use a scraper after the pan has cooled.
  • Dry immediately and carefully with a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
  • Simple black residues on the towel are normal changes from the seasoning.
  • Apply a thin layer of cooking oil or seasoning spray to the surface of the cookware. Use a paper towel to wipe the surface until no oil residue remains.

Maintenance-Seasoning

  • Reapply a thin layer of cooking oil or seasoning spray.
  • Place the cookware upside down in the oven and place a baking sheet or aluminum foil on the bottom rack.
  • Bake at 200 degrees C for one hour and allow to cool.
