Features of “active compression”:

  • Graduated compression
  • Mesh knitting allows the skin to breathe
  • Opaque, soft smooth knitting
  • Reinforced heel and flat seams
  • Durable for hard use and frequent washing

Composition:

  • Polyamide: 70%
  • Elastane: 30%

Usage:

  • It is recommended to wear the socks in the morning when the feet and ankles are rested.
  • Dust a thin layer of talc on the foot for better fit.
  • Use thin rubber gloves to prevent wear.
  • Turn the sock inside out to the heel and open it to facilitate the entry of the foot.
  • Make sure that the sock is tight and does not wrinkle for a perfect fit and proper compression.

Indications:

  • Vascular diseases with venous insufficiency
  • Chronic conditions with varicose veins
  • Formation of phlebitis
  • Swelling and varicose ulcers
  • Thrombophlebitis and postoperative prophylaxis

    2 stars very leniently... If they stayed up and didn't fall down, they would probably do the job.. First of all, their material reminds me of pantyhose, it is very thin, comfortable of course but you don't feel it compressing you either. They don't stay on but slip down after a while, especially if you walk, resulting in them not being in position to compress the leg. In contrast, the same socks from other companies (e.g., Varisan that I tried) are made from much denser material and don't slip. I would suggest you prefer closed-toe ones if you don't want them to bother you at the foot, unless your doctor prescribes those with open toes..
