The AQUACEL® Foam dressing consists of:

  • Waterproof outer layer that allows the evaporation of excess moisture while protecting against viruses/bacteria.
  • Soft polyurethane layer that absorbs wound fluids.
  • AQUACEL Hydrofiber® technology layer that turns into a gel when in contact with wound fluids, providing the optimal environment for healing.
  • Peripheral silicone adhesive that provides a secure and skin-friendly adhesion, easily removable without irritating the skin.
  • Inner AQUACEL® Hydrofiber® technology layer that reduces pain immediately after application.
  • The gel transformation helps in easy and painless removal and does not damage the newly formed tissue during removal.
