The present work is the Greek edition of the Handbook of Neuropsychology published by the American Psychological Association. The addition of this significant collective work to Greek literature aims to meet the ever-increasing academic demands, as well as the clinical and research applications of neuropsychology in our country.

This volume addresses lifelong neurobehavioral disorders, such as memory disorders, naming disorders, and lexicon-semantic processing, difficult manifestations, higher-order visual disorders, as well as neuropsychological deficits and/or dysfunctions that manifest within various neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions such as epilepsy, neurodegenerative diseases, CNS infections, hematological neoplastic diseases, exposure to toxic agents, cerebrovascular diseases, substance dependence, and disorders of the psychotic and autistic spectrum, among others.

The dense and intricate organization of specialized scientific knowledge provided by this work aims to meet the needs that arise within the context of specialization programs in the field of neuropsychology, clinical neuropsychology, clinical and behavioral neurosciences, while also targeting clinicians interested in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry. Clinicians in the field of clinical psychology and psychiatry are also given the opportunity to delve into the field of neuropsychopathology.
