After many years with boring black jackets, this one caught my attention. I liked its style and appearance. The camo pattern is not at all excessive. Overall, it is quite discreet but also stands out compared to plain-colored ones.
Beyond appearance, its quality is quite good. Zippers, seams, buttons, and great attention to detail. The hood is detachable and is held in place with a button. It even has holes for water drainage in case you get caught in a heavy rain. The main zipper has a flap to block air entry with a second zipper. The protections on the shoulders and elbows are softer and more flexible compared to the previous Flare 2, yet it has a higher safety level. It is AA compared to the Flare 2 which is A.
As a jacket, it is quite heavy and fits relatively "snugly," at least for me at 1.80m and 82kg. This, along with the lining and back protector (Revit SEESOFT™ CE-Level 2 size 5 for L), which is not included and must be purchased separately.
As for how waterproof it is as a jacket and how the Hydratex | G-liner membrane under the 600D polyester performs, I have no experience. Nevertheless, if it can withstand a brief, unexpected heavy rain, I will be satisfied, since I do not intend to travel in the rain.
According to the company, the character of this jacket is sport-oriented. I would say it is also Urban, even though it has nothing to do with Softshells.
In general, so far I am satisfied with my purchase. I believe it is worth its price as a model and Revit as a company. For someone who moves daily in the city but also takes short trips, I think it is ideal.
