Repair Putty for Deep Cracks & Holes 1kg D-66 DuroStick

Properties

Repair putty, white resin-based, cementitious, reinforced, enriched with ceramic beads. Particularly thixotropic, it does not "hang," fills cracks and holes up to 20mm wide and 30mm deep without shrinking. It is classified as a repair mortar in the PCC R2 category according to EN 1504-3.

Applications

Suitable for closing cracks and holes from nails or screws in painted and unpainted masonry made of plaster and concrete. Ideal for repairing broken edges on columns. It can be applied in both outdoor and indoor spaces and withstands all weather conditions.

Precautionary Measures

1. Surface preparation: Cracks must be cleaned and loose materials removed. Surfaces should be stable, free from dust, oils, and grease. Wetting them before application is necessary.
2. Application: Add the D-66 Repair to a clean container with water, in a ratio of 1kg powder to 280-300ml water and stir until a homogeneous, paste-like mass without lumps is formed, suitable for filling. If a second layer is needed, it should be applied after 3-4 hours without wetting. Once dried, the material can be sanded where needed. It can be painted after it has cured.

Cleaning

Tools are cleaned with water immediately after use.

Storage

Keep in its factory-sealed packaging, in dry and shaded areas, for 18 months from the production date.
