The Evercade Legacy of Kain game collection includes Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. The first is a 2D action-adventure game featuring Kain from a top-down perspective, while the second is set in the 3D world of Nosgoth and follows Raziel on his quest for revenge.

In Blood Omen, exploring outdoor areas and dungeons is combined with combat, puzzle-solving and avoiding hazards. To advance the story, Kain seeks out and confronts the members of the Circle of Nine, while he can kill or injure humans, animals and fantastical creatures to feed on their blood. In Soul Reaver, Raziel explores Nosgoth, switches in real time between the material and spectral realms, and faces five vampire clans using melee weapons, projectiles and environmental weapons.
