In Blood Omen, the player follows Kain, a nobleman who has been killed and resurrected as a vampire. Seeking revenge against his murderers and a cure for his vampire curse, Kain is called to traverse the fictional land of Nosgoth and eliminate the Circle of Nine, a corrupt oligarchy of divine sorcerers.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver

As Raziel, hunt down your former vampire brethren in the shadows of Nosgoth in your quest to destroy your creator – Kain. After betrayal and execution by Kain, you return to Nosgoth on an epic quest for revenge. A milestone in 3D adventure.

Features:

• Blood Omen is a 2D action-adventure game. The player controls the protagonist, Kain, from a top-down perspective.
• Gameplay is divided between outdoor paths and dungeon exploration, including hack and slash combat, puzzle solving, and navigating hazards.
• To advance the story, Kain must locate and defeat the members of the Circle of Nine – who act as enemy bosses – and return their emblems to the Pillars of Nosgoth.
• Humans, animals, and a variety of fantasy creatures inhabit the game world, which the player can usually choose to kill or alternatively wound to drink their blood.
