It clearly says on the face of the watch 10 year battery, so I was surprised when I looked at it today to find that it had stopped working after just two years. I don't use any of the other functions that might consume battery power.
Whilst it was working it was very accurate although tricky to sync the digital and analogue times.
The light was also of limited use as it didn't seem to illuminate the hands and there is no illumination at all for the digital display.
Fortunately battery replacement is easy and it's a common battery CR2025
So as a time piece it's good but the 10 year battery life is a joke

One of my favorite Japan modules has a world time memory for thirty phone numbers with name, stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm clock with repeat function. If you want it to be waterproof for showering and swimming, you need to be careful with the acrylic glass. The analog time has excellent illumination, more than anything else.

Well, I have had this watch for 15 years (purchased on 16/10/06). It is exactly the same as when I bought it. And the funniest thing is that I haven't even changed the battery yet. It says "10 year battery" and the Japanese are lying, it should have said over a 15 year battery!!! In the end, CASIO = GUARANTEE.

After several daily uses, I would like to mention the following: Very good-looking watch on the wrist (relatively lightweight and not bothersome at all), with a nice appearance (sporty and classy at the same time) and several functions. However, it has some negatives that do not align with the brand of which I am a loyal fan. The first disadvantage is that it is not easily readable (the photo is misleading, the numbers are small and illegible both in analog and digital, and the hands are not clearly visible). The second and most significant drawback is that while the case, buttons, and bracelet do not easily wear out, the glass scratches easily, something that I have not observed even in older models of CASIO that I own. The third issue is the settings, a real headache, and you have to refer back to the manual the next time. Lastly, there is the well-known difficulty in adjusting and resizing the bracelet, which is also encountered in other models of the brand. In conclusion, it's a yes and no, yes for those who want a good-looking, affordable analog and digital watch on their wrist, no for those who want a practical and durable watch.
After a year and a half, I come back to give it another star, it has become my favorite everyday watch, the above-mentioned flaws still apply, but the scratches can be removed with toothpaste, overall a good dog, Casio indeed.
