The philosophy and "epistemology" of Woke constitute a continuation of the old Enlightenment and Marxist denial of human nature—the human being is a "blank slate" on which society can inscribe everything, good or evil. This philosophy will ultimately reach, through postmodern-deconstructive thought, a rejection of the distinction between good and evil, truth and falsehood, identity and non-identity.
Jacques Derrida will delegitimize the concept of Law and will replace it with the principle of absolute indeterminacy and fluidity. Gilles Deleuze will reach, through a "revolutionary" trick, the most extreme individualism, defining the subject as a "herd" ("each individual constitutes a herd"). Finally, Michel Foucault will see power as a diffuse ideology, with all human beings being its carriers, and will consider neoliberalism as the answer to the society of discipline.
As an applied philosophy, "wokism" will circulate preferentially: a. From a version of the feminist movement, which does not settle for gender equality, but, with Judith Butler and Queer theory, sees gender as a mere social construct. b. from a decolonial movement that no longer aims to eliminate racial or ethnic inequalities, but to replace the Masters with the dominance of former subordinates. c. finally, from a cultural current that denies the continuity of human civilization and any objective or scientific truth, to the benefit of a depressing presentism and the relativization of everything.
The oppositions of races, ethnic groups, genders, and sexual identities acquire substantial and competitive character: hence the denial of the formation of a society of whites and people of color and the prevalence of divisive communalism, hence the questioning of biological sexual identities and ultimately even the existence of genders, hence the questioning of scientific truth and its replacement by a woke political correctness.
