Excellent shoe. It will be tough on you for the first few months, it is stiff. After 4 months of daily use it has softened to a good level. Completely WATERPROOF. Elegant and well-made. Quiet, it doesn't scream motorcycle shoe!!! Expensive but worth it. 4 stars because it takes work to soften.

This review is about a variation of the product

I can give it five stars for one reason only. I had pain in my feet and I wear special shoes to prevent my feet from hurting. But as a motorcycle rider, driving 1500 km per month, I needed to get an anatomical and good shoe that wouldn't cause me any problems, even when I needed to put the motorcycle on the double stand, where we exert a lot of force with the central part of our foot. So when I tried them, I bought them solely based on their quality and the ortholite insole. I had tried them on Salomon shoes before. In the first few days of the first week, I wanted to throw them in the sea, but after a week of breaking them in, yes, the shoe is beyond words. It feels like it was made for my feet. The price is high, but I agree that the goretex theoretically guarantees its waterproofing, and I described the ortholite above

This review is about a variation of the product

The shoe smells quality as soon as you see it, something that is further reinforced if one reads the technical information and/or checks the related videos and sees the details and technologies that Dainese has applied to this model. Goretex Extended Comfort, Orholite insole, D-Foam on the ankles, asymmetrical Groundrax soles for adapting to speed and braking changes.
As soon as I bought it, I wore it on a 9-day tour in Greece with a sport touring motorcycle, at the end of June-beginning of July, meaning in quite a few kilometers and predictable heat. Although I was thinking whether I preferred the Air model, I ultimately believe that I made the best choice. I won't say much about the feeling while riding. It's awesome, it makes you feel both safe and comfortable, and without sweating. Fortunately, I haven't had to evaluate its resistance to rain and falls yet.
It was also tested in a lot of standing and walking, even in 33-34°C heat for about an hour, both in the city and on dirt with inclines. It held up great and I didn't feel any discomfort, apart from the expected discomfort that comes with any other summer boot. In fact, I would say that the Urbactive model breathes better. Obviously, it's not its job and intense and prolonged walking on stones and rocks can alter its sole, which has a specific function, but if someone needs to stroll in a stop or even visit a place or museum, I don't think they will get tired. It will definitely be even more comfortable in winter.
I saved the appearance for last. I bought the green one, which, something that is not immediately apparent in the product photos on the websites, is that it is green on the outside and black on the inside. Personally, it covered me 100% and it is also the main reason why I checked it out. When wearing it, it looks more like a VANS shoe than a motorcycle shoe, which is a huge plus for me as I wear size 46 and the other shoes tend to look bulky.
I believe it is worth every penny of its price.

This review is about a variation of the product

In no case is it a lightweight shoe and it is not suitable for long walks, but.....if it was a soft shoe, how would it be suitable for a motorcycle?? Motorcycle shoes are supposed to protect you and that cannot happen with a soft shoe. Motorcycling requires some compromises. Those who want hiking boots or athletic sneakers for coffee shops in combination with a motorcycle, then they are not motorcyclists. They are just some people who want to ride a motorcycle without a sense of their own safety. The quality is excellent, as in all Dianese products. The shoe size is normal without surprises.

Many of my friends thought they were basketball shoes until they realized they were Dainese... absolute comfort with Gore Tex combined with waterproofing, breathability, and style. The best sporty urban boot that can be comfortably worn for coffee and allows for hours of walking
