The Carrera Hybrid Speedway to Hell track offers a 6.09 m racing circuit with lane changing and overtaking. Driving is controlled via a free app on a smartphone or tablet, where speed, grip and braking can be adjusted, while realistic engine sounds play.

The circuit includes a start/finish straight, four straight sections, eight right-hand turns and two left-hand turns. The app detects the track automatically, while the cars return to the circuit by themselves, and artificial intelligence is supported. Up to 30 drivers can race simultaneously, with up to 16 players per race.
