The student book "Greek for You A1" belongs to the bilingual series for learning Greek as a foreign language "Greek for You," which is aimed at teenagers and adults. It is a bilingual material that facilitates classroom teaching as well as autonomous learning.
The Student Book A1 includes material in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the syllabus required for obtaining the Greek Language Certificate A1 from the CGL (Center for the Greek Language). Various teaching approaches were combined to create the educational material "Greek for You A1," with the communicative approach being predominant.

BILINGUALISM
Bilingualism concerns the instructions of the exercises,
the grammar rules, the vocabulary, the expressions, and
the idioms of the Greek language, including sociolinguistic, cultural, and everyday life elements.
The material can also be taught in an intercultural class where each student will have the book with the reference language of their choice, without the teacher needing to know any of the reference languages.
