The Prestan torso manikin simulates CPR training on an adult and features functional oral and nasal airways. Visual feedback indicates whether the compression rate is within the range of 100–120 per minute, while an audible click mechanism activates when the chest is compressed to the correct depth.
The head allows insertion of a nasopharyngeal airway (NPA) during training when properly lubricated. The lung bag is easy to install and is secured together with the face mask in dedicated slots. Correct head tilt opens the airway, while chest compression and rise during ventilations simulate CPR performance.
