Hall Effect Magnetic Switches & Adjustable Actuation

The heart of the Q3 HE is based on the advanced Gateron 2.0 Hall Effect Magnetic switches. Unlike mechanical switches that rely on physical contact, these switches use magnetic fields to register keystrokes, eliminating wear and offering unparalleled smoothness thanks to the Double-Rail structure. The most important advantage is the ability to customize the actuation point. The user can adjust the sensitivity of each key with 0.1 mm precision, choosing an actuation distance from 0.2 mm to 3.8 mm. This feature allows the creation of profiles for instant response in competitive games or a deeper travel for precise typing.

Rapid Trigger Function & Dynamic Keystrokes

The system incorporates Rapid Trigger technology, which dynamically adjusts the actuation and reset point based on the movement of the key rather than a fixed point. As soon as the key starts to rise, it is immediately deactivated, allowing for ultra-fast command repetition (spamming) without delay. Additionally, multiple actions per key (Dynamic Keystrokes) are supported. Depending on the depth of the press, a single key can perform up to four different actions (e.g., light press for walking, deep press for running), offering a strategic advantage through complex Mod-Motion combinations.

Wireless Tri-Mode Connectivity & Hardware Architecture

The Q3 HE offers flexible connectivity through three methods: wired via USB Type-C, wireless via Bluetooth 5.2 for connection with up to 3 devices, and through the dedicated 2.4 GHz band. In 2.4 GHz mode and wired connection, the keyboard achieves a Polling Rate of 1000 Hz, ensuring zero latency for demanding gaming. Internally, it is powered by a powerful ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit (MCU) microprocessor equipped with 256K Flash memory, which easily manages the complex functions of the magnetic switches and RGB lighting, providing stability and immediate data processing.

CNC Build Quality & Double-Gasket Design

The keyboard frame is made entirely of 6063 aluminum, CNC-machined, providing sturdiness and high-quality aesthetics. The mechanical design follows the Double-Gasket Mount structure. Silicone pads are inserted between the upper and lower case, isolating the PCB from the metal body. This technique drastically reduces acoustic resonance and vibrations. Additionally, the internal layering includes sound-absorbing foam, a PET membrane, and a Latex layer, creating a clean, 'thocky' sound profile and enhancing the typing feel.
