With Law 4139/2013, particular emphasis is placed primarily on the suppression of organized forms of trafficking, the differentiation and grading of related crimes, measures for physical and psychological detoxification, the responsibilities of agencies for addressing drug-related issues, while maintaining in effect paragraph 2 of article 1 of Law 3459/2006 with the tables of narcotic substances as they have been amended, as well as articles 58 and 61.

Subsequently, Presidential Decree 148/2007 (Government Gazette A' 191/10.8.2007) is established, which constitutes the codification of the provisions of regulatory decrees and regulatory ministerial decisions of national legislation regarding narcotics, as well as a consolidated alphabetical index.
